6th EU-Korea joint meeting of the civil society representatives (11-16 April, 2018)

Seoul hosted the 6th EU-Korea joint meeting of the civil society representatives between 11th and 16th April 2018. The Vice-President of BCCI and Chairman of CCI Bulgaria-Korea, Mr. Georgi Stoev, took part of the European Commission delegation to Seoul in his capacity of President of the EU-Korea Joint Consultative Council. This year's Forum targeted important topics, such as circular economy, corporate social responsibility, and the ratification of UN International Labor Organization conventions. On the 14th and 15th of April, Mr. Stoev visited the office of the Korean Industrial Trade Association and participated in the conference on electromobility in Korea as well as in the exhibition of the new trends in the production of electric vehicles. Companies from South Korea, the EU and Japan such as Hyundai, Kia, BMW and Toyota participated in the exhibition.

During his meetings, Georgi Stoev offered to carry out study missions from component manufacturers in Bulgaria and the EU to create new models of cooperation and to meet the new challenges facing the automotive industry worldwide.
